MyCoStrategist (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the CEOSIX mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect personal information when you use the App.

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect:

• Account information: name, email address, industry sector, geographic region, year of birth, education level, password or authentication identifier you choose to provide.
• Learning and gameplay data: scenarios completed, decisions made, scores, progress, feedback, achievements and assessment results.
• Purchase information: subscription status, transaction identifiers and entitlement information. Apple processes payments for App Store purchases; we do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
• Device and usage data: IP address, device type, operating system, app version, language, crash reports and interactions with App features.
• Support communications: information you provide when you contact us, submit feedback or report a problem.

We collect information directly from you, automatically through your use of the App, and from service providers that help us operate the App.

We use personal information to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Deliver simulations, learning content, scores and personalised feedback.
• Process and validate subscriptions and in-app purchases.
• Analyse App performance, fix errors and improve features and content.
• Respond to support requests and service communications.
• Protect the App, prevent fraud and enforce our terms.
• Meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping requirements.

We will ask for consent where required by law, including before using information for marketing where applicable.

Where UK or EEA data-protection law applies, we process personal information because:

• It is necessary to perform our contract with you, such as providing the App and subscription.
• It is necessary for our legitimate interests, such as security, product improvement and service administration, where those interests do not override your rights.
• You have provided consent.
• It is necessary to meet a legal obligation.

We may share information with carefully selected service providers that support our operations, such as:

• Cloud hosting and database providers.
• Customer-support and email providers.
• Analytics and crash-reporting providers.
• Apple, to administer App Store purchases and subscriptions.
• Professional advisers, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where legally required.

We require service providers to protect personal information and use it only to provide services to us. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for third-party behavioural advertising.

We use Apple to understand App performance and usage. These providers may receive device, diagnostic and usage information as described above.

We do not track you across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes. If this changes, we will seek any permission required through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework before tracking begins.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the App, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise associated personal information within 30 days], unless we need to retain particular information for legal, security, fraud-prevention or accounting reasons.

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to:

• Request access to your personal information.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
• Receive a portable copy of information you have provided to us.
• Complain to a data-protection authority.

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal information by:

• Using [Profile → Delete Account] in the App; or
• Emailing craig@mycostrategist.com from the email address associated with your account.

Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. You must manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account subscription settings.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your information may be processed in countries outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable data-protection law, such as contractual protections approved for international data transfers.

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will publish the updated version in the App and on this page, and change the “Last updated” date above. Where a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required.
